We offer a wide variety of products that help specialty furnaces and electric arc

furnaces (EAF) optimize productivity.

Iron and Steel Concentrates

Our separation and concentration process yields a high-quality metallic Fe product. We make a high-grade metallic Fe concentrate from low-grade Fe-bearing C-fines, or Iron bearing slag stock. We carry B scrap, Hammered B scrap, C scrap, and Iron Spills A and B.

Skyline Metals concentrates can exceed 80%-85% metallic concentrations, this product makes an effective feedstock for furnace production.

Compact, dense sizing results in higher output per furnace charge
Denser furnace charges result in more efficient arc transfer and higher melting efficiencies

Molybdenum

Ferromolybendum often contains a small percentage of metal trapped within the slag. At Skyline Metals, our process consists of:

Crushing the slag to liberate the metallic pieces
Using the air-pulsed jig upgrading concentrate using screening and magnetics
Separating the concentrate, using the jig

Alloy Steel Sorting Metallics

Alloy slag often contains a small percentage of metal trapped within the slag. At Skyline Metals, our process consists of:

Crushing the slag to liberate the metallic pieces
Using the air-pulsed jig to concentrate, take out, and replace the pieces
Upgrading the concentrates using screening and magnetics

Specialty Products

Our laboratory, pilot testing and portable processing equipment enables us to investigate separation of metals from slags or materials with different densities or magnetic properties.
